Globes

The Globes series consists of ceramic spheres in various sizes. The spheres are initially formed as regular, closed shapes, but gradually lose their original form during drying as a result of physical forces.
As they deform, the perfect spheres become functional objects: their forms adapt to their surroundings and acquire a new purpose. The series explores how a form’s meaning and value can change through processes of transformation and adaptation without losing its sense of completeness.
