My works combine the storytelling power of folk culture and the interactivity of contemporary art. Working with ceramics and other natural materials, I strive to bring ancient beliefs, motifs and folk tales to life in a contemporary form. I believe that shared experience and the immediacy of natural materials can show the timelessness of traditions in a new context, while creating new forms of human connection.
